Musicians Society
About
The Musicians Society is a music-based club whose primary focus is to create a community for musicians at York University. We aim to provide a platform for York students to perform and learn different means of musical expression, and our members have been known to be experienced with many different styles of music such as rock, metal, pop, folk, blues, and jazz. The Musicians Society also owns a variety of equipment (guitars, amps, drums, etc...) that is available for use by members at various events and activities hosted throughout the year.
The Musicians Society is open to all instruments and forms of musical expression. We encourage our members to use the club as an opportunity to collaborate with others and explore new styles of music.

Membership Fee:
As of January 2024, the club no longer requires a fee to become a member of the club.
How to join the club:
1. Attend one of our events and speak to an officer to sign up.
2. Approach one of our members while we table and speak to an officer to sign up.
3. Visit us during our office hours (office hours will vary each term) and speak to an officer to sign up.
4. Email the club email (yorkumusicians@gmail.com) and ask for membership.
